<p>The manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules has signed an agreement with the UCAM (San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia) to sponsor and collaborate in the development of solar car that will compete in the prestigious international race Shell Eco-Marathon. Eurener donates laminated photovoltaic cells that serve to generate the electricity to drive the car and feed their guidance and communication systems. Also provides technical advice to the students and teachers who are doing the design and make the team competitor called UCAM Racing Team.</p>
<p>The prototype consists of an electric car with a power of 1 KW which is supplied by solar PV energy. The recharging of the Lithium-Ion battery that powers the motor is made by high efficiency solar laminates donated by Eurener. It also incorporates an innovative communication system based on the popular hands-free bluetooth with the addition of a telemetry system to collect real-time information from sensors network distributed by the entire car. These data will be sent to the boxes during the race in order to be analyzed and allow the team to make changes to the parameters of the car during the race.</p>
<p>The competition will take place from 15th to 19th May at the Ahoy circuit in Rotterdam (Netherlands) with the participation of 200 teams and 3000 students from all over Europe fighting for energy efficiency and sustainable development. Shell Eco-marathon challenges student teams from around the world to design, build and test ultra-efficient low power vehicles. This annual event has a long history that began first in America and has spread through Europe and Asia. The winners are the teams that go further using less energy. The event raises a debate on the future of mobility and inspires young engineers to push the boundaries of energy efficiency.</p>

<p>The photovoltaic module manufacturer with more than 15 years of experience in the industry is launching a new product. Clear solar module opens the year with a strong innovation conducted by Eurener own R&#038;D Department transforming and improving architectural integration solutions for solar installations.</p>
<p>It consists of 60 cells of crystalline silicon, has positive tolerance and power up to 250Wp. To ensure the effectiveness of the electrical performance of the product is performed an individual electrical test by cell sorter on the same production line, the glass is 4mm thick with high light transmittance and the frame has an air chamber to provide greater mechanical strength.</p>
<p>Clear module nomenclature is CEPV-Monocrystalline and CEP-Polycrystalline depending on the type of cells that compose it. In both cases there are three different variables with the common characteristic of transparency: </p>
<p>1. Clear Standard &#8211; silver grey aluminium frame<br />
2. Clear All Black &#8211; frame and cells semi-transparent black colored<br />
3. Clear Laminated &#8211; no frame to reduce its size</p>
<p>It is certified by the most prestigious international laboratories that granted the IEC 61215, IEC 61730, frontal load (snow) of 5400 Pa, back load (wind) of 2400 Pa, C class fire resistance, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.</p>

<p>The second edition of this race, unique in Latin America, start today with four days duration across 1286 kilometers of the Chilean Atacama Desert, the driest in the world.</p>
<p>The 19 participating teams from countries as diverse as Chile, Argentina, Venezuela and India, are ready to give everything in extremes of heat and dryness. Eight of them participate in the Atacama Solar Challenge (Desafío Solar Atacama) category, comprised of cars powered exclusively by solar energy, and the other eleven in category Solar Road (La Ruta Solar), composed by hybrid tricycles solar-human powered. Coming days will complete the feat of 4 stages that make up this competition through the towns of Humberstone, Calama, Toconao, San Pedro de Atacama, Baquedano and Carmen Alto.</p>
<p>Mathaios team, after having passed the rigorous testing performed to solar cars in qualifying, has confirmed it is in top condition. Their vehicle has been tested for dynamic acceleration and braking as well as other safety static ranging from the electrical system until the pilot can escape in less than 10 seconds in case of accident. Preparation goes beyond vehicles as the drivers should follow a diet consistent with the extreme weather conditions to which they are subjected during the race.</p>
<p>The 25 people who make up the team are students of the San Mateo Technological Institute of Robotics. They have multidisciplinary counseling teachers and engineers who have guided them in the construction and piloting of solar and mechanical powered vehicle participating in the event as well as the support and sponsorship from the European manufacturer Eurener who has designed the exclusive photovoltaic modules for the car to get part of the energy needed for its operation.</p>
<p>Eurener modules have the most prestigious certificates of electrical safety and quality as well as independent testing such as the Photon Laboratory attesting that they have values that are above average.</p>

<p>Eurener, leading European manufacturer of photovoltaic modules with over 15 years experience, will be present for the fifth consecutive year at the 27th edition of the fair PVSEC Europe (Frankfurt, 24-28 September) in 3.0/B9 stand (Hall 3) being one of the most important international show in the field of solar energy in Europe.</p>
<p>In the event will introduce its new <strong>All Black MEPV </strong>photovoltaic module that <strong>reaches 250 Wp</strong> and has a 3% positive tolerance. The R&amp;D Department of the company has been in charge of  the new product from envisioning to final execution and designed it to facilitate seamless architectural integration work of engineers and architects who seek a superior aesthetics line.</p>
<p><strong>All Black </strong>photovoltaic modules are highly efficient and reliable. They are composed by 60 monocrystalline silicon cells and <strong>range power of 214Wp, 220Wp, 225Wp, 230Wp, 235Wp, 240Wp, 245Wp and 250Wp,</strong> depending on the model type, and they have the most prestigious certifications of the market; remarking <strong>IEC 61215</strong> and <strong>IEC 61730</strong> provided by <strong>TÜV Nord</strong>, world-class specialist in industrial and regulatory inspection services.</p>
<p>Recently has expanded its <strong>product warranty</strong> of solar modules up to <strong>12 years</strong>, it is<strong> </strong>over the average of industry manufacturers. Also improved sensitively the <strong>lineal performance warranty</strong> of nominal electricity production beginning with <strong>98% first year</strong> of implementation of the module and gradually descends to 90% the twelfth year of its life. From year 13 to year 25 warranty slowly reduces to 80%.</p>

<p>In collaboration with Chilectra and CDT, Eurener has conducted a  specialized course aimed at construction professionals titled  &#8220;Introduction to solar energy.&#8221; On August 21st and 22nd at the premises  of the Faculty of Architecture and Building belonging to the University  of the Americas (UDLA), located in Santiago de Chile, the course was  taught by Vanessa Nolasco, Eurener R&amp;D Manager.</p>
<p>The pupils have acquired knowledge and skills to, in the exercise of  their profession, achieve design and specify a basic level of solar  energy solutions for homes, buildings and other structures, clearly  identifying the essentials photovoltaic concepts, the various factors  influencing in these facilities, design and dimensioning of connecting  structures and profitability of PV projects.</p>
<p>Learning has been supplemented by an analysis of the global energy  scene, an introduction to the types of solar photovoltaic systems  explaining the advantages of facilities solutions Off-Grid and On Grid  of less than 100 kW. There was a special section for description of the  manufacture of photovoltaic modules as well as several examples.</p>
<p>The course is aimed at professionals in the world of construction,  mainly architects and civil engineers who work in the area of technical  specification, with basic knowledge of building physics and energy. Also  suitable for students of civil engineering and architecture seniors  interested in building physics and energy efficiency.</p>
<p>The event&#8217;s success raised the three entities conducting further  training activities to promote among Chilean professionals groups  the  advantages and opportunities of solar energy.</p>
<p>Chilectra is the Chilean Electricity Company, electricity  distributor. Created on September 1st, 1921, as CHILECTRA Ltda, to merge  “Chilean Electric Tramway and Light Company” (1889) and “Compañía  Nacional de Fuerza Eléctrica” (1919). In May 2005 Chilectra S.A. agreed  to approve the operation to contribute their shareholdings in the  companies Ampla and Investluz (Coelce) to the new company established in  Brazil &#8220;Endesa Brasil&#8221;. Through this partnership would proceed to  reorganize the assets of generation, distribution and transmission owned  by Chilectra S.A., Enersis S.A., Endesa S.A. and Endesa Internacional  S.A. Endesa Brazil&#8217;s constitution was finalized in June 2005 and the  contributions of equity interests were held in October of that year. At  that time Chilectra contributed part of its participation in Ampla  Energía &amp; Servicios, pending the provision of the remaining shares  (restricted stock), which must be carried out between 2008 and 2012. At  December 31st, 2007 Chilectra possessed, in economic terms, the 9.01% of  Endesa Brasil.</p>
<p>The CDT is a private corporation created by the Chilean Chamber of  Construction in 1989, its mission is to promote innovation,  technological development and productivity of companies in the  construction sector through various service areas such as Technology  Dissemination, Knowledge Management, Sectoral Studies, Coordination of  Technology Stakeholders and Technology Transfer.</p>

<p>Eurener, leading European manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules with over 15 years experience, has presence in Europe through its subsidiaries Eurener Italy and Eurener Portugal, and distributes its products in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and from last year in Latin America through its subsidiary in Chile.</p>
<p>After successes over the past twelve months from Eurener landing in Santiago de Chile the company is consolidating its presence <strong>with the opening of new offices in São Paulo (Brazil) and Quito (Ecuador)</strong>, and taking position in a market that recent years has proven to be an engine of the global economy.</p>

<p>From November 15th to 19th will take place the second edition of the race of solar-powered vehicles known as “<strong>Atacama Solar Challenge</strong>”. It will cross the Atacama Desert, the driest in the world, receiving the highest solar radiation on the Earth&#8217;s surface that reaches more than 1.100 W/m² and exceeds 3.600 meters above sea level.</p>
<p>It is a <strong>unique competition in Latin America</strong>, the first of its kind, where teams from across the region gather in northern Chile to run <strong>1000 Km. under the relentless sun</strong> of a wasteland with innovative solar vehicles for four days of grueling competition</p>
<p>The tour consists of <strong>four stages</strong> starting from Humberstone to Calama, where begins the second stage to Toconao and San Pedro de Atacama, then to come back to Calama and to make way for the third stage with destiny in Baquedano addressing the final stage from Carmen Alto coming back to Humberstone for the finish line.</p>
<p>The <strong>Mathaios team</strong>, from San Mateo Institute of Technology, consists of 25 people, mainly <strong>students of robotics group</strong> advised by a multidisciplinary team of professors and engineers <strong>who aim to build and pilot a solar vehicle</strong> driven by photovoltaic and mechanical energy. It is the only prototype developed by students from public school enrolled in competition. The rest are private and groups from professional institutes and universities.</p>
<p>This team, <strong>sponsored by Eurener</strong>, uses as a power generator for its vehicle polycrystalline photovoltaic modules from the European manufacturer specially designed for this application. Eurener modules have the most <strong>prestigious certificates</strong> of electrical safety and quality as well as independent testing such as the <strong>Photon Laboratory</strong> attesting that they have values ​​that are above average.</p>
<p>The event is presented as an opportunity for research, development and innovation in renewable energies in Latin America enabling the participation of students, encouraging ingenuity and ensuring replicability of developments in the Latin American reality. Thus, through an activity of great media coverage and supported by actions aimed at the younger generation, it seeks to convey a message to create global awareness regarding the use of renewable energy sources in general and solar energy in particular.</p>

<p>Eurener is a photovoltaic solar modules manufacturer with more than 15 years of experience and presence in Europe through its subsidiaries Eurener Italy and Eurener Portugal. The company, who distributes its products in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux, will attend the fair <strong>Intersolar Europe</strong> (Munich, June 13th-15th) in the stand A1.150 (Hall 1) one of the most important international events of the solar energy sector in Europe.</p>
<p>In the event will show its new photovoltaic module <strong>All Black MEPV </strong>especially designed for architectural integration. Fully developed by the Department of R&amp;D it <strong>reaches power up to 250Wp</strong> and has <strong>3% </strong>positive tolerance.</p>
<p><strong>All Black </strong>photovoltaic modules are highly efficient and reliable. They are composed by 60 monocrystalline silicon cells and <strong>range power of 214Wp, 220Wp, 225Wp, 230Wp, 235Wp, 240Wp, 245Wp and 250Wp,</strong> depending on the model type. They have the most prestigious certifications of the market; remarking <strong>IEC 61215</strong> and <strong>IEC 61730</strong> provided by <strong>TÜV Rheinland</strong>.</p>
<p>Eurener has recently expanded its <strong>product warranty</strong> of solar modules up to <strong>12 years</strong>, it is<strong> </strong>over the average of industry manufacturers. Also improved sensitively the <strong>lineal performance warranty</strong> of nominal electricity production beginning with <strong>98% first year</strong> of implementation of the module and gradually descends to 90% the twelfth year of its life. From year 13 to year 25 warranty slowly reduces to 80%.</p>

<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-1304" href="http://eurener.com/1295/farola-fepv-20-50-reflejo"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1304" title="farola-FEPV-20-50-reflejo" src="http://eurener.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/farola-FEPV-20-50-reflejo.jpg" alt="" width="140" height="234" /></a>La gala de entrega de los I Premios TecnoEnergía 2012 se celebró el pasado miércoles 23 de mayo en Madrid con la asistencia de más de 150 personas, donde se procedió a la lectura del fallo del jurado de los premios de productos y de proyectos.</p>
<p>Los galardones tienen como objetivo destacar la calidad e innovación de las empresas del sector de las energías renovables español, divididos en la categoría de producto y la categoría de proyecto teniendo en cuenta las diferentes fuentes de origen renovable: eólica, solar fotovoltaica, solar térmica, biomasa, cogeneración y eficiencia energética.</p>
<p>Eurener obtuvo el premio al mejor producto en la categoría solar fotovoltaica por su farola solar EUROPE (FEPV 50) desarrollada íntegramente por su Dpto. de I+D+i en el marco de un nuevo y pionero Sistema de Iluminación Autónomo basado en tecnología LED y alimentado con energía solar. El sistema destaca por su alta capacidad lumínica, larga duración y bajo consumo. Está especialmente indicado para mobiliario urbano, así como para iluminar sitios de difícil acceso como viviendas aisladas en alta montaña, señalización nocturna de señales marítimas, iluminación autónoma de faros, boyas y embarcaciones, señalización de zonas de peligrosas, etc.</p>
<p>La ceremonia estuvo precedida por las intervenciones de José Manuel Galdón, Consejero Delegado del Grupo TPI, (editora de la revista TecnoEnergía y organizadora de los premios), que se encargó de abrir el evento. Seguidamente intervino Javier García Breva, Presidente de la Fundación Renovables; Fernando Sánchez Sudón, Director Técnico Científico de CENER; y Enrique Soria Lascorz, Director División Energías Renovables de CIEMAT.</p>
<p>Todas las intervenciones estuvieron en la misma línea de defensa de los intereses del sector  de renovable que es el único que puede garantizar la independencia energética de España y un desarrollo futuro en sintonía con el de la mayoría de los países occidentales. Muchos asistentes coincidieron en destacar el mal momento que está pasando la industria de las renovables, con unas políticas perjudiciales desarrolladas por el Gobierno y unos ataques injustificados desde los lobbys de las grandes compañías energéticas sobretodo las del sector eléctrico representado en UNESA.</p>
<p>La clausura estuvo a cargo de Antonio Carrión, Presidente de AEDICI y copresidente del jurado de los I Premios TecnoEnergía 2012. Una clausura centrada en el esfuerzo realizado por todos los agentes de la industria de las renovables, el mal momento que atraviesa y las expectativas de un futuro que &#8220;nadie podrá parar&#8221;.</p>
<p>El jurado estuvo copresidido por Ángel Zarabozo Galán, Director General de Tecniberia, y Antonio Carrión Martínez, Presidente de AEDICI, arropados por Javier García Breva, Presidente de la Fundación Renovables; Rafael Úrculo, de Úrculo Ingenieros; Juan Travesí, de A.C.H.S.L.P; Javier Ara, de Argu Ingeniería, Alfredo Lozano, de AGM Tecnología e Ingeniería de Proyectos; Fernando Sánchez Sudón, Director Científico Técnico del Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables (CENER); Enrique Maza, socio-director y administrador único de M&amp;K Ingeniería Civil; y Ricardo Bravo, Presidente de la Asociación Castellano-Leonesa de Empresas de Ingeniería y Consultoras (ACALINCO).</p>
